The subscription is open-ended and can be terminated at any time after a period of 12 months.

The subscription is automatically extended by the appropriate runtime when the extension is not cancelled in your iTunes user settings until 24 hours before the automatic extension. You can view your subscriptions, edit and disable the automatic renewal directly after purchase in the settings.
