iOS 11 compatible, completely re-written, our new app builds on the successful website helping skiers & snowboarders find the best snow conditions. In addition to the previous app that provided 6-day (free) snow forecasts and 9 day (to subscribers) it offers:
– new easier to navigate user interface
– seamless integration with your website account or snowmail alert favourites
– single page per resort giving forecasts, snow reports, eyeball reports, webcams
– integration of stunning Opentopo mapping including ski lift info, with offline storage available to members
– push notifications for snow alerts and other news
– find the closest ski equipment shop or accommodation to your location
– SOS or find your ski buddy feature via location sharing
– share the snow: submit snow reports or share photos via social media
– find the resort nearest to your current location or easily add resorts to your favourites via a new map finder.
– background updates to resort database (e.g. if new ones are added).
Starting from this version, you may now purchase an auto-renewing membership subscription through an In-App Purchase. If you maintain a subscription, the following features become available:
– Maps caching for offline use
– 3 hourly detail forecasts
– 9 day long range forecasts
Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and will automatically renew (at the duration selected) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Current subscription may not be cancelled during the active subscription period; however, you can manage your subscription and/or turn off auto-renewal by visiting your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.
