We update Newsdrop as often as possible to make it even easier for you to read the latest news effortlessly. In this update, we fixed some bugs and made a couple of optimizations for improved performance. New in this version:
- new pull to refresh animation
- new no internet connection information view
- a couple of bug fixes

Newsdrop is a smart news curation app for iPhone and Apple Watch.
It is based around minimalist news summaries crafted to deliver the maximum amount of information with minimal reading effort required from the end-user.
We read tens of news outlets and stories, pick out the most relevant ones, and then deliver them in a short, skimmable form.
Newsdrop comes with Apple Watch support. Thanks to its simple structure, the app looks and reads well even on smaller screens.

HOW IT WORKS

We conducted extensive research in order to determine the optimal way to display the news. Our exclusive method of content frontloading is ideal for skimming and quick reading. Most of the information can be read straight off the feed, without even having to open the article.

Every news batch contains a selection of the most important news and stories that you can quickly skim through. When you find a piece that interests you, simply tap on it and it will expand into paragraphs that let you dig deeper.
